2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Some data suggests that cancer patients may be at higher risk of health complications from COVID-19.
In an abundance of caution, our physicians are recommending that our patients check their body temperature twice per day, at least 8 – 12 hours apart or anytime you suspect you have a fever or are experiencing chills.
For patients currently receiving cancer treatment, if you develop
  • A fever (body temperature equal to or higher than 100.4)
  • Symptoms of a respiratory illness such as a cough or difficulty breathing
  • Persistent chest pressure or pain
We advise that you self-isolate, limit contact with others, and seek advice by telephone from your healthcare provider.

Arizona Blood and Cancer Specialists and Arizona Breast Health Specialists

Arizona Blood and Cancer Specialists and Arizona Breast Health Specialists are closely monitoring the global COVID-19 outbreak.

Our goal is to ensure a safe place for our patients, their families and all employees.
